Mare Facade System is wholly an innovative brand new product. The power underlying the System are the strengths of Marestone. Marestone is non comparatively strong and homogeneous product that can be processed in all manners and can be cut to 15 mm thickness even at its largest dimensions. Marestone is the best artificial cement bound mineral aggregate stone in the world. Many varieties of stones (lime stones, marbles, granites, clinkers etc) can be processed in the planned face texture ( patinato, polish, honed, antique, bush hammered) at Mare specified dimensions.
The lightest and safest.
* The lightest and safest ventilated stone rain screen cladding system of the world are compiled by employing the above elements, stone weight being 35.5 kg/ m2 (for15 mm). No excess loads to the buildings. Loads per any specific area of stones to aluminum profiles are negligible and all the system is interlocked in most flexible manner. Seismic resistance is inherent for the Marestone system.
Strong but not brittle.
* Marestones are stronger than almost 90% of the natural stones in tensile and compressive strength. This feature is accompanied by another valuable one as being easily workable and processable. You can cut, engrave, channel, chisel, bush hammer the Marestone. With its monolithic structure it is like a sculpture material and is safe.
High wind load resistance.
* High wind load resistance is an exceptional feature of Marestone System. Only 12 mm thick test plates of large size (60x120 cm) resisted to static wind load according to ASTM C1201-91 and CWCT (BS) at min. 400 kg/ m2 which is sufficient to meet almost all the requirements. Every slight increase in stone thickness shall bring Marestone to sufficient level for all the needs that can be considered.
Anchorage strength.
* Anchorage strength of the horizontal aluminum profile in the channel of the stone to the stone itself is measured according to ASTM C 1354 and it is found out that no physical loads in real life can pull out the stone from the aluminum. Impact resistance measurements of the system are also very satisfactory. (EOTA & CWCT-BS 8200).
Physical strengths and durability.
* Physical strengths and durability of the system is undisputable. Marestone is least water absorbing, compact, minimum porosity, high tensile and compressive strengths, high abrassion resistant, excellent freeze and thaw durability material. Values for aluminum and steel elements are internationally known. The total system is excellent for attanning maximum durability.
